Abstract
The purpose of this study was evaluation of effectiveness communication channels
to transfer strategies conceptions, to the employees of Isfahan Mobarakeh steel
company that has application aims and the method of data collection is descriptivemeasuring.
The instrument of this study were interview& researcher- made
questionnaires, that the reliability of this questionnaire was affirmed by experts and
specialists and validity of questionnaire was computed by Cronbakh Alfa method (r=
0.87). The statistical population of this study included all formal employees of Hot
rolling mill, Iron making and Steel making committees (in production structure);
Technology, Economics- Finance, Sales and Marketing, Planning and production
control (in staff structure); control maintenance shop, automation and instrumentation
(in supportive structure); which consist of 4500 people and the samples have been
selected randomly (by the aid of random numbers) among the participant employees,
in the meetings of goals formulation, and the extracted sampling volume from Morgan
table was 351 persons. The software used for analyzing data were Excel and SPSS and
the significant level was considered at 0.05 (<0.05).
The results show that the rates of employee information about strategic
management elements are between 61 to 77 percent. Meanwhile, the most important
various communication channels of formulation& implementation steps of strategic
management are the strategies and goals bulletins& meetings of goals formulation and
then production achievement ceremony, productive achievement notebook, strategic
enterprise management system& meeting of inter departmental. The most important
communication channels in the step of evaluating strategic management are monthly
and seasonal meetings of controlling goals.
The results of Anova& Tuky analysis indicate that there are significant differences
among the rate of various structures employees' information (except the corporation’s
goals& evaluation step). Also, there is a strong and positive correlation between
education and the rate of information from the elements of strategic management, in
comparison with the employment background& organizational positions.
Overall, since the employees are much more informed about the elements of
implementation strategic management, as compared to the formulation& evaluation
steps, it is expected in this company to perform the compiled strategies and goals,
successfully.
